July 15, 2002 Mr. Richard Andrews,
General Manager
Dear Mr. Andrews: Thank you for your letter and the material you enclosed regarding mitigation of environmental and hazardous waste dangers during construction. It seems to me the only environmental and/or hazardous conditions not addressed concern our situation after your complete construction. I consider an equipment shed and an 11,000 square foot parking lot definitely harmful to my environment and I consider the increase in traffic, smog and noise occasioned by same to be definitely hazardous to my health. I would suggest you could mitigate all these problems by moving your planned operation to someplace like the quarry where the Pebble Beach Company now has offices and parking lots and room for trash, waste and old Christmas Trees. I understand you have sent copies of the mitigation material to my neighbors as well. As soon as everyone has had an opportunity to examine the material I will see if we can find a mutually agreeable date to meet with you. Very truly yours, /ss/ Phillips Wylly
