A visitor from the Bailal region of the Ukrane is guided by Bruce Belknap at CNCH 2000 while practicing how to "draw out" carded, natural, black, Navajo sheep's wool as she was learning how to spin with a Navajo spindle. This was so different from her native weaving experience hand-drafting horsehair. |
